Monthly Meetings for Research Associates

This year, we started having monthly meetings for Research Associates to share better practices.  The first one was very helpful.  We all shared what we were currently working on and talked about any improvements we had made to methods.  Levetta and UnJu also offered advice on goal setting and company practices.  We concluded our meeting with a discussion of topics we would like to include in future meetings.

On the lab side of things, I’ve been continuing to focus on ion chromatography and enzymatic activity assays.  Our HPLC system started having some problems last week so I’ve gotten to learn a little bit about troubleshooting.  With the help of several experts, we diagnosed the problem and should be up and running again this week once the replacement part arrives.
