Final Presentations and Beach Party

We gave our final presentations last Friday.  It was very interesting hearing about what everyone had been working on all summer.  After the presentations, we had a beach themed party.  We got to wear flip-flops and eat summer cookout foods like hamburgers, hot dogs, and macaroni and cheese.  There was a picture of the beach on the projection screen and towels and beach chairs scattered around to set the mood.

My 12-week internship was supposed to end this Friday but Novozymes is going to let me come back one day per week during the school year to continue my project.  I’m excited about getting to see everyone that I’ve met here on a regular basis and continue researching an interesting topic.
